September 2001 Charts
September was Tropico's month, holding onto onto 1st place since it's release earlier in September. No doubt many of you are now sporting straggly beards, smoking Havanas and affecting a fake Spanish accent. Do your kids really call you "El Presidente"? For the second month running the previous number one has been ousted; this time The Sims House Party slipping to number four spot.

Hot on the heels of the top strategy game is the adventure Myst III Exile now at a lower price. It performance is all the more remarkable because The Collectors Edition has also made the Top 20 at number fourteen. Following on from the phenominal Myst and Riven, Exile is clearly set for many months in our Chart. A new entry at number three is Green Berets, an excellent Vietnam War game using the Myth II Soulblighter engine (you get the full Myth II game free!). Suprisingly, Green Berets is keeping Deep Space 9 The Fallen out of the top ten. Whereas Green Berets, using the Myth II engine is a known quantity, we reckon people are waiting for a UK review of the Deep Space 9 The Fallen. But as the game is only available on import from us they may have a wait!

The latest Lara release, Tomb Raider Trilogy (number 5) which is an enhanced collection of the first three TR games, is now outselling the newest Lara adventure Tomb Raider Chronicles(number 15)!
Alice is still selling well enough to keep it ahead of the pre-orders for Alien vs Predator Gold Edition which is sure to be a hot one! We should have it arriving on import around the end of September at the reasonable price of just £31.99. We strongly recommend pre-ordering.

There have been many creditable performances by older titles enjoying a resurgence in popularity: notably, Escape From Monkey Island, The Sims, Cro-Mag Rally, Rogue Spear and Diablo II. Diablo II is selling particularly well now our supply problem has been cured.

Outside the Charts we have a new release of the MacAlly iShock II Gamepad which is bound to sell very, very strongly, just like its predecessor. Other late September releases include Sheep and The Feeble Files. Also we are selling mountains of RAM - if you haven't upgraded why not check out the prices now?
