The end of October and as usual there has been a turn around in the charts. The excellent Tropico has slipped behind pre-orders for Age of Empires 2 which shows what a strong title it is.

The Green Berets continues it's strong sales and is the unsung hero of the second half of 2001. Just goes to show game designers that taking a chance with a little originality can be rewarding.
The Sims is still showing the others how it's done after more than a year in the charts; quality will always tell!
Both the sequel Baldurs Gate 2 Shadows of Amn and Alien vs Predator have just been released in time to make a good showing in October's charts.

After a quiet summer Cro-Mag Rally has sparked into life with a strong showing this month. But it is a great game for the family, so no one should be surprised.
The new footie season has sparked interest in the new version of Champ Manager Season 01/02, which is to be released on 16th November.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater is also finally getting some recognition for the excellent game that it is.
We have seen a resurgence of interest in Carmageddon II which is great fun for adults - splattering pedestrians and driving all kinds of outlandish vehicles. It's excellent price is obviously driving sales even though it is CDROM only (no manual or box). Still there are loads of Carmageddon II sites on the Internet with full instructions and game guides available.
