March 2003 Charts
The final March chart has a familiar look to it with the total domination by The Sims and its add-ons. Other familiar faces include Medal of Honor, Champ Manger 01/02 and Ghost Recon.
Less familiar with the rareified atmosphere of the top of the table are Legion (new release) and Warcraft 3, Oni and Baldurs Gate 2 Shadows of Amn; the latter are great games but have often been overlooked by UK Mac gamers.

This month's new releases have generally received the thumbs down from UK Mac gamers, who clearly prefer a quality game, however old it is, to buying new unproven games. Looks like publishers are going to have to get their finger out and get their games reviewed BEFORE release unless they want them to become highly priced shelf ornaments in shops daft enough to stock Mac games!
The exception that proves the rule is Legion. But it is a strategy game and they always do well on the Mac - a fact that seems to come as a surprise only to Mac publishers as they keep churning out driving and skateboarding games!
Feral have CM4 due for release next week we are confidently predicting it will be the number one Mac game in the UK for April 2003. There is a downloadable demo available, just go here to get it or order the game.
