if you order a pizza, when the pizza guy comes to your door don't answer it and when the pizza guy starts walking away pause it and go to buy mode click the pizza and put it on your table then go back to regular mode and your sim will get the pizza for free. 29/7 - Marjolein CHEAT! First type ctrl+shift+c and type move_objects on. Let your sim go to the swimming pool and let him/her swim. When he/she is in the water go to the buying mode, click on your sim, and place him in the grass or in your home. Sometimes he/she'll swim in the grass. And sometimes it'll be transported back to the swimming pool and will be walking on the water! 28/7 - callum CHEAT! Move any objects and delete people.

type ctrl+shift+c to open your cheat box then type in move_objects on. Then, when in buy mode, click on your sim and press delete. Go back to live mode and double click on their picture and they will return in full health and happy bars. To make sure you don't lose too much time, pause before entering buy mode. To make sure you don't lose your realtionships and job advancements made since last saving, save before deleting sim. Have fun!

When playing the Sims(for pc), press control shift c at the same time, then type in "rosebud" and press enter to instantly get $1,000. After you do that, then you can press: ;!( after you press ctrl shift c again). When you do that, you get another thousand dollars. You can continuously type that in also.

And here's a merciless tip from Amanda :) If you want to get rid of 1 of your sims just leave them in the swimming pool until all of there energy runs out and they die. the only way to do this is to just have a diving board on your pool no ladder. 3/10 - Mikaela
Instead of wasting money on maids save for a robot, it does the work of a maid. Also, download a teletransporter to summon Sims to your house (a quick way to make friends).
1/9 - Slim Vision
To activate the cheat entry screen, hold shift+command+c and a little window will appear in the top left hand corner. You can only do this when your viewing a house but you can do it in live, buy or build mode.
Cheats : type these after activating the cheat window then press return.
ROSEBUD Gives you 1,000 simoleons.
INTERESTS Displays the interests of the selected sim.
DRAW_ROUTES Draws colored dots along the path of every sim. Note: This cheat must be followed by ON or OFF.
WATER_TOOL Activates the water tool, which allows you to place natural water (like a pond) on your lot.
DRAW_FLOORABLE Turns the floorable grid on or off. Note: This cheat must be followed by ON or OFF.
SIM_LOG Creates a text file in the same folder as the game that logs the activities of the sims. Note: This cheat must be followed by BEGIN or END. The file is created when you enter SIM_LOG END.
GROW_GRASS Sets the rate of grass growth. Note: This cheat must be followed by a number between 1 and 150.
MAP_EDIT Allows you to edit locked tiles. Note: This cheat must be followed by ON or OFF.
EDIT_GRASS Activates the grass-growth tool. Note: This cheat must be followed by a number between 1 and 150, which is the amount of growth that will be applied to grass tiles that you click. You must enter EDIT_GRASS 0 to deactivate the grass-growth tool.
MOVE_OBJECTS Allows you to move objects that you wouldn't normally be able to move. Note: This cheat must be followed by ON or OFF.
AUTONOMY Sets the autonomy level for all sims in the house. Note: This cheat must be followed by a number that indicates the level of autonomy.
HOUSE Loads a house. Note: This cheat must be followed by a number between 1 and 10, which is the lot number of the house.
SIM_SPEED Sets the simulation speed. Note: This cheatmust be followed by a number between 0 and 1000.
TILE_INFO Displays the tile info window, which gives stats for the tile under the cursor.
HISTORY Creates a family history text file in the same folder as the game.

Until you've mastered the art of making friends only create families of at least two members. Then your Sim always has someone to talk to etc. Single Sims become lonely and career progress is impossible at higher levels without friends.

Hire staff as soon as possible. A daily maid and a gardener keep everything neat and tidy and improve your Sims mood (because they like the rooms) and reduce time spent on very day tasks giving them more time to make friends, which is the key to success in the game.

Avoid expensive fires in the kitchen. Don't buy a stove or barbecue for a Sim with no cooking skills. Until they learn some (by studying a book - buy a bookcase) let them use a grill or microwave.

Make money from burglars.
You get a $1000 if one is caught,. The only way to do this is to put a burglar alarm on the OUTSIDE wall of your house. (Inside ones fetch the police but too late to catch the burglar or save your property).

Put a fire alarm in the kitchen. Put one in any room with an open fire. Put one on any outside wall if you have a barbecue grill. They are cheap and fires are expensive and deadly.
