20/1 - Ed Ward
Neither of the above cheats work on the Mac version of the game. I'm not saying you can't make the talk feature active using the "ini" file. What I'm saying is typing in this: "set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bCheatsEnabled True." does nothing. I've tried it anumber of ways and it DOES NOT WORK!
However, on the "Vandenberg Command" level you can continue to input the power grid activation code 5868 as many times as you want. You will gain 100 Skill points everytime you input the code. Some keyboard bashing should enable you to gain full skills in all areas. Makes life a lot easier when using heavy weapons, no more walking slow while they are equiped.
10/7 - Slim Vision CHEAT! CHEAT!
Here is a complete list of all the cheats in the game + a few for multiplayer.
To activate you do the trick where you edit the user.ini file. However, if you have installed the multiplayer patch, then this does it for you so you don't need to.
In a single player game you press 'T' then delete 'Say' and type exactly :
Set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bCheatsEnabled True
This can be in upper or lower case.
Here is the list of Single Player cheats :
GOD Makes you invincible.
FLY Allows you to fly. (Jump makes you go up, and crouch makes you go down. The directional keys move you around).
GHOST Allows you to walk through walls (this can be very buggy).
WALK Disables the FLY and GHOST codes.
INVISIBLE 1 Makes you invisible to enemies.
INVISIBLE 0 Makes you visible to enemies.
BEHINDVIEW 1 Enables the third party view.
BEHINDVIEW 0 Disables the third party view.
IAMWARREN Gives you Warren's EMP field, which acts like a continuous EMP grenade.
TANTALAUS Kills the current target.
OPENSESAME Unlocks the target door.
ALLSKILLPOINTS Gives you 100000 skill points.
ALLSKILLS Makes you a master at all skills.
ALLAUGS Gives you all basic augmentations.
ALLWEAPONS Spawns all weapons in front of you.
ALLAMMO Gives you full ammo.
ALLHEALTH Gives you full health.
ALLENERGY Gives you full bio-energy.
ALLCREDITS Gives you 10000 credits.
ALLIMAGES Displays all images in the game database. This is a spoiler for the game.
LEGEND Displays the debug menu. Don't use this cheat code unless you understand the game engine. You can cause major problems with the game if you use it incorrectly. But it does have some cool aspects, such as ther ability to listen to all th emusic in the game, even the different versions of music.
SUMMON Creates an object in front of you. This code works for inventory items, weapons, and enemies. You may also use the code:
SPAWNMASS to create more than one object at a time. Some of the objects you can create include:
The end game cut scenes are spoilers (duu) if you have not seen them yet.
A few cheats for Multiplayer exist. If you run your own server, or you have the admin password to one, you can press 'T' and deleted 'Say' then type exactly :
Set Human bCheatsEnabled True
Now you can use all the above codes for single player like summon! If you can't get it to work though, you may need to put 'admin' before everything you type. For example to if you can't summon a lam, you might need to type :
Admin Set Human bCheatsEnabled True
Then 'Summon Lam' - Again if it still does not 'Admin Summon Lam' should.
Super Augs :
To have a Speed aug that never runs out of energy, enable cheats then press 'T', delete 'Say' and type :
Set AugSpeed MPEnergyDrain -500
with that acivated, you can have all your other augs on and not have any energy drain because it is set to -500 (in other words the speed aug now puts energy in your reserve instead of taking it out). You can also adjust the value. For example to have ballistic armour that can take 100% damage type :
Set AugBallistic MPAugValue 0.0
After you have typed one of these codes you must kill respawn for them to take effect, so just type Suicide after entering them.
Now as you may have guessed, you can't cheat without admin access. But this is not true. There are some user codes that can be used to 'bend the rules' without the need for admin access. You just activate cheats (Set Human bCheatsEnabled True) then :
For the legendary ShotTime : Delete say and type :
Set Weapon[CLASS] ShotTime 0
Were [CLASS] is the weapon. Here is a small list of the ones that work :
GEP : GEPGUN
Pistol : PISTOL
Assault shotgun : ASSAULTSHOTGUN
Sawed-off shotgun : SAWEDOFFASHOTGUN
Basicly the names are the same just wthout any spaces, but some of the names don't work, even if you don't get errors when entering them.

Instead of being silly and correct by talking to people (i.e. Walton Simons in the Submarine Base level)just run the heck away and do ure best to kill the mfrom a distance. Explosives work best for me ive found (the 20mm HE round for the Assault Rifle is the best as it has a high rate of fire)
3/8 - Joe Little CHEAT!
Find the 'user ini' file in the Deus Ex folder. Find an unmapped key i.e. T= Type next to it: talk Then when you are in the game press the talk key and type: set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bCheatsEnabled True. Exactly the same as that.Remember to delete talk first before you type. The cheats are now enabled. Now using the talk function type any of the following. God: god mode Allaugs: all augmentations Allammo: Duh! Allweapons: Arranges all the weapons in the game in a neat, completely inaccessable pile for you Ghost: walk through walls fly: I don't know what this one does, it's too complicated
