If you are searching for SWAT based games, realistic and breath-taking, then get RAVEN SHIELD! It's the most complete game in its genre for Mac. If you feel like being part of an elite counter terrorist team, rescuing hostages, preventing nerve gas breaks in the city or building bombing threats, this is THE game. At first you have multiple choices of weapons, cammo suits, specialists in assault, sniping, electronics and recon. Before you start a mission you get to create a plan for all the team you selected ( up to 8 members dividable in 4 sub-teams). You can spend hours planing many different possibilities of clearing the mission. Give gocodes and your team will obey as you order them what to do. If you're more like an instant action player and want no plan, you have instant, in-game, popup menus that let you choose different orders to your team mates such as: clearing rooms, flashing rooms, opening doors, etc...
Once you finish the campaign mode and got some training you can play the multiplayer mode! Now this can be very interesting. For my part I've found great team-mates with who I play regularly and it gets very strategic! Anyway, if you've ever played a Tom Clancy game before and liked it, then you can purchase this one without doubt.
And finally I'll rate this 8/10 just because I find the artificial intelligence of the terrorists sometimes a bit poor (but BIG improvement since Rogue Spear) and I wish there were more maps in the solo campaign (earlier Clancy games had more diversity). But you can always download maps on the internet once they are available.
Anyway, Raven Shield is my favourite game for at moment! I hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I do! Cheers. Score: 8
