The limited market for this type of controller (civil flight simmers) means unit price is inevitably high, and at just short of £130 it is a BIG outlay. It's plastic - yes, I know most flight controllers are, but the CH Yoke FEELS and looks plastic - like my baby son's toy car steering wheel. That said - it's a real thrill to use (FS2002 here) and you do get throttle, pitch and mixture controls for the money. The sliding action of the yoke is quite smooth, but the spring control forces feel like springs - sorry. CH - it's time you revisited the Yoke offering - surely a little updating is called for after all this time, and the customer deserves something just a little less plasticky. Competitor products are far more expensive (but higher quality) so thank your lucky stars for the CH Yoke, swallow hard and go for it!

The overall build of the CH Yoke is excellent. It is comfortable to hold and the buttons and levers are all placed exactly where you would want them to be. There are more than enough buttons to control all the basic functions of an aircraft. The Yoke is sprung to create the feeling of control pressures either as you pull back or push forward. You can alter these forces using the trim wheel provided. You can also control the throttle, prop and mixture using the levers situated on top of the yoke.
In conclusion, whether you enjoy flying as a computer hobby or as a Pilot in real life, the CH Flight Sim Yoke offers all you could need at a reasonable price. (If you can go the extra mile I recommend the Pro Pedals for the ultmate in verisimilitude)! Score: 9.5
