I have been playing this game for a week, taking total pleasure from taking out Nazi scum and Zombies with an arsenal of vintage firepower. This is an absolute must have to blokes whom enjoyed play 'soldiers' when they were kids . . . you will not stop playing this game; promise. Score: 9Readers Review by lewis hall
I think this is a great game but any hints as to how to get past the first boss would be much appreciated! Score: 9.5Readers Review by L Cope

I asked Aspyr the following question: I have the following G4Powermac: G4Powermac /400mhz DVD (2001 sawtooth version) ATI Rage Pro 128 Graphics Card (16MB Video ram) 1.5 GiG Cpu memory 20 Gig internal HD 80 Gig External HD 19" monior (viewed at 1280x1024)
Will I be able to play return to castle wolfenstein on this system ok?
Here's the reply:
"Howdy, Not at that resolution, no. With that particular video card, you'll have to turn down the resolution and detail options to make it playable. However, you should be able to get it to a playable state, for most of the game. There are a couple of areas in the game that the Rage 128 just doesn't handle well, and the framerate will be pretty poor.
You would be better served to upgrade the video card.
Thank you for your interest,

I hope this is of some use to other macgold direct customers. http://www.G4Powermac.com

Even though I prefer games with more futuristic weapons (lasers, etc.), I have played this on the PC and I immediately knew it was a classic. Fab graphics, wicked multiplayer gaming, and an intriguing single-player storyline. However, if you don't intend on playing multiplayer games or prefer slice-and-dice-instant-gratification-style shoot-'em-ups, then this is not the game for you. Multiplayer games need (surprise, surprise) other players, and does not involve shooting people to your heart's content. There is some gore, and you have to complete several objectives when playing, whilst on a timer. Very nice... Score: 9Readers Review by Nicholas Prasad
I think the game is brilliant. It has very good graphics and a great amount of realistic weapons used in WWII which makes it very real. The enemies are well created with proper German soldiers from the SS in the real uniforms. You get to fight a load of enemies including Hitler, Himmler, a Nazi professor, Nazi women called the Elite guard, zombies and a lot more. The castle itself is very imaginative full of brilliant hot spots to hide and blast your way through the Wehrmacht. The videos are really cool just like the ones in the war movies. So if you're interested in playing realistic WWII games with loads of action, shooting, killing, blood and an excellent multiplayer where you take part in a bloody battle on the Normandy beach head play Return to Castle Wolfenstein its the game for you.
