Well, the graphics are good despite AvP2's age, the gameplay is astounding, the sound is excellent, the levels are wide and varied (unlike AvP1), and the models are scaled just right. And, even better, you can now play as the other aliens and preds in multiplayer!
So why haven't I given this 10 out of 10? Simple - it runs like a hippo. My G4 eMac was above the min. requirements, yet the marine campaign in particular tended to slow down the frame-rate at just the wrong moment. It's playable, but much more fun (I presume) with a G5.

This game is brilliance to the nth degree - it goes one better than its predecessor, and gives you so much more. One warning - this is not a game for the squeamish - blood and guts galore! And it require Mac OS X to run - just in case u don't have it. Each species has a storyline that is interwoven with the others to the pint you'll come across one of the other playable characters in action. Choose from either the marine who's been chosen to be the scapegoat for a conspiracy by the military - now he's facing treacherous humans, silent and deadly predators and the nightmarish aliens - the only things he can trust are his pulse rifle, smart gun and small armoury of other weapons at his disposal! Then there's the Predator, the baddest game hunter in the universe, what started out as a normal hunt, has become a nightmare for him - now he wants vengeance for his fallen comrades - and he'll take on anyone with his collection of spears, wristblades, pistol and disks (Much better than they sound - never leaves the opponent in one piece!) - enough firepower to destroy his enemies without breaking sweat! Finally there is the Alien - the nastiest piece of work in the universe - the game now starts you off at the beginning of the creature's lifecycle - yes - the facehugger - your first task is to find a willing victim, impregnate him, wait for the chestburster to make its bloody exit, and then hunt down the humans to feed your appetite of carnage - although he only has his claws, tail and jaws the alien makes up for his lack in arsenal with sheer speed, strength , the ability to climb ceilings and walls - and a new ability - Pounce - it literally causes your human prey to explode! Overall the game is sheer brilliance , all its aspects from sound to visuals are stunning- the creepiness of it all will leave u feeling nervous in the dark for ages- a must for all Mac Gamers - BUY IT NOW!
